Business Link, the government’s support organisation for small-medium businesses, offers a grants and support directory.

It also offers Solutions for Business, a portfolio of publicly funded business support products and services to help businesses start and flourish.

High Growth business start project

New and young businesses (under 12 months old) can apply for a ‘high growth business start project’ grant. This grant is funded by the Working Neighbourhoods fund and is being delivered by Black Country Enterprise.

The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust ‘Enterprise programme’ provides grants and support to help young people start up new businesses.

You need to be 18-30 and unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week.

The trust offers loan of up to £4,000 (up to £5,000 for a partnership), business mentoring and a free legal helpline.
