Following the success of Growing Green events in 2010 and 2011, there are plans set in motion to host 'Growing Green 2012' in March.
Growing Green is your chance to promote your business and learn how to become more sustainable, while celebrating the West Midlands' world-class manufacturing heritage and its potential to lead the way in green technology.

Growing Green 2011 attracted more than 600 people, but in 2012 it is expected that record will get broken and more than 1,000 guests will be welcomed through the door to see the products, components and sustainable solutions made in the West Midlands region. About the day* A networking 'marketplace' where manufacturers can showcase their products and highlight the expertise available right here in the West Midlands. The Growing Green Marketplace will have four separate zones: Renewable Energy and Waste Management, Building and Construction, Manufacturing and Automotive, Transport and Logistics. If you'd like to exhibit (a 3m x 2m stand costs £300 + VAT) please email: claire@finditintheblackcountry.co.uk stating which zone you should be in, explaining what your business does, and giving details of how you could contribute to the event.* Hosted Buyer Lounge - Working with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to invite overseas ambassadors, specifiers and buyers, so you can meet them face to face in a quiet lounge area for pre-booked one-to-one's.* Professional Development Seminars - to be delivered by business experts, including representatives from the Black Country LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership). * Black Tie Dinner - for over 100 people at an evening event, to get the movers and shakers (including Black Country LEP chiefs, overseas and UK buyers, council chiefs, regeneration partners and high-profile business people) together to nurture international trade, business growth and improved support for the Black Country and City Region.* Factory Tours - On the day after Growing Green 2012, there will be a programme of factory tours so that overseas buyers can see exactly what the West Midlands supply chain has to offer.
